Â鶹AVstands for the Â鶹AV. Â鶹AVis part regional planning agency and part local government service provider. We accomplish our goals by providing planning services and cost-effective Â鶹AVmember services to local governments struggling with rising costs and diminishing incomes. The consolidated staff of Â鶹AVand the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) staff have been working as one team since 2017.
Mission, Vision & Values
Our mission is to advance shared local and regional priorities for transportation, housing and the environment. In 2024, the ABAG-MTC Executive Team adopted this mission, along with a vision statement, values, goals and objectives, to guide the work of agency staff, in the service of making the Bay Area the best it can be.
